The staff was helpful, always there to help. I had a good value for money room with an extra single bed in the lounge area, kitchenette, a seperate bedroom and everything was perfect. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator worked well.

Review of Horizons Motel, Gold Coast

The rooms are nicely styled and equipped with A/C, making for a comfortable stay. Having a microwave, electric kettle, and refrigerator is a great bonus. the motel's location is perfect, just a short walk to local shops, cafes, a good shopping center, and a nearby convenience store.

20 minutes' drive to the airport. Recommended base for a city trip in Gold Coast! Honestly nothing too much trouble. I enjoyed the location...

This place had a beautiful and spotless room with great facilities, and the location was convenient for getting to the international airport by bus.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and pleasant accommodation, well laid out in its 2 room design (we booked the twin room, for a couple and 6 yr old boy) and well maintained. Easy walking distance to beaches and to quality restaurants. Pool available too, though we didnt use it. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and quality for the low price.

Positioned on the Gold Coast Highway, so didnt look like much as we were driving up to it. Proved us wrong though as it was neat and tidy, easy to access and friendly. We were in the suite closest to the road and had no issues with road noise. No locks on the windows in our suite, beyond the basic aluminium sliding frame lock.

The convenient location and the price of the motel, this was the decision maker for us to choose this place. Furthermore the staff were very friendly and made us felt welcome as soon as we arrived.

Steep slope at the front of the motel drive-way. Be careful when driving up or down the slope, as the first time we scratched our vehicle quite seriously :(

Perfect for an overnight stay - room was spacious, airy and very clean & neat. Benjamine (owner/manager) was delightful - soo friendly and willing to please. We really enjoyed our stay :) P.S. I read a few earlier reviews about no soap in bathrooms and no soap holders - the management have obviously listened and attended to that as we had none of these problems.

Very tidy, modern and the size of room was quite spacious. It was all so easy. It was quiet considering its location on the hwy.

Clean and tidy

The door handle was difficult to use. In event of fire : it would be a coroners case. I discussed with hotel manager and he was very happy to check the mechanism.

Good to use as we did for a one night stopover, helpful and friendly staff, had everything we needed for travellers passing through

Extremely basic. Bare minimum amenities. First time ever. Did a room not provide complimentary shampoo. Wow. Bathroom Door was a sliding door which closed leaving space open. B
